The Inter-Mountain
Party Launches Pandora's CD Release
Creative Links will host a CD release party at 7 p.m. Saturday for the folk/rock band Pandora featuring Trish Bowyer. There will be a $3 cover charge. Bowyer is a resident of Elkins and has spent the last year putting together her CD tilted "Killed Her and Replaced Her." The CD, featuring 12 original songs written by Bowyer, was recorded and produced by Elkins-based Lone Wolf Productions.
Bowyer's performance at the grand opening of the Randolph County Arts Center in September was well received by those attending. She was also a regular performer at the Wednesday night Open Mic at the Posten House Acoustic Cafe. Pandora's music takes folk/rock to a new level with a style that has been compared to the likes of Sarah McLaughlin, Fiona Apple and Stevie Nicks. The CD will be specially priced for this event. Visit Pandora's Web site at www.pandoracd.com for more information. Creative Links is located at 224 Davis Ave.
